2022 Chevy Equinox Interior: 2022 Chevy Equinox Interior Colors,

Made of durable materials and nicely styled, the Equinox cabin should be inspired by a wide appeal. Both front and rear passenger seats should find themselves comfortably in the spacious interior, with plenty of luxury to keep the content on longer journeys.

The cabin offers many cabinets, but most interior luxuries are offered as standard or optional equipment at higher levels of upholstery; Base Equinox L is the prize leader with very few features.

Some rivals offer more space behind the back seats, but we still managed to fit eight of our Carry-on suitcases back there. In addition to the roomy Center-Console Storage bin, Equinox’s cabin storage is just average.

In addition to new technologies and possibly new color finishes and seat material combinations, the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox interior remains the same as the previous models.

2022 Chevrolet Equinox technology offers the following standard features:

  1. Lane-keeping help with driving in lane warning
  2. Rear Camera Camera
  3. Next Distance indicator
  4. Automatic emergency braking
  5. Front Pedestrian braking
  6. Headlights with IntelliBeam
  7. Collision warning Forward

Lush Equinox will also offer the following, key security and Driver assistance features:

  • HD Surround Vision
  • Camera-based Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Automatic Parking Assistant
  • Safety Warning seat
  • Rear Cross-traffic warning
  • Front Park Assist
  • Rear Park Assist
  • Lane change notification warning on side blind zones

Infotainment and connectivity the 7.0-inch touchscreen (8.0-inch unit is optional) show the Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment Interface at the top of the Equinox’s Dash dashboard; The system continues to impress with its ease of use and rapid response.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, such as Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, USB connection, and auxiliary input connector. The standard 4G LTE onboard Wi-Fi makes Equinox one of the best-connected Crossovers.

2022 Chevy Equinox Engine

Underpowered and often out of breath, the basic Turbo four-cylinder engine will not win any fans with its slow performance.

The turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder makes 170 hp, and when paired with the optional (and heavier) All-wheel-drive system (front-wheel drive is standard), it takes a heavy leg to make the Equinox rush up to the motorway speed.

The larger, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is optional and much better suited to Equinox’s weight. Standard six-step automatic shifts smoothly and in the interest of fuel efficiency, the gearbox is reluctant to move when additional power is required.

Pleasant and easy to follow, Equinox grips competently, and its management is accurate and direct.

The ride is a bit rough, especially with the optional 19-inch wheels (17S or 18s are standard), and the thicker stretches of the road transmit some annoyance to the cabin. 2022 Chevy Equinox can also pull up to 3500 pounds when properly equipped.

2022 Chevy Equinox MPG

EPA estimates that front-wheel-drive Equinox with base four-cylinder will earn 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Adding all-wheel drive reduces both ratings by 1 MPG.

Switch to the larger four-cylinder engine and its fuel economy is estimated to drop to 22 mpg city and 29 highway for front-Drive models; All-round-Drive versions share a city rating and should receive 28 MPG highways.

Both Equinox motors have been subjected to our test route 75-mph in the real world. The smaller engine with front-wheel drive returned an MPG 32 on the highway and we saw 28 MPG with the All-wheel-Drive version.

Equipped with a larger engine and all-wheel drive, Equinox reached 30 MPG in our test.

Chevy Equinox 2022 Release Date

2022 Chevy Equinox Release Date In the previous year, the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox will be released in Autumn 2020. Chevrolet announces prices for 2021 Equinox closer to the release date. The compact SUV will be offered in five trims: L, LS, LT, Premier, and RS.

But in 2022 we haven’t gotten accurate information about when this car will be released. We will continue to update this website.

2022 Chevy Equinox Price

2022 Chevy Equinox did not announce prices for the 2022 Equinox, but we expect each model to cost a little more when it goes for sale this fall. Although the lineup adds stylized RS at the top of the beanie sequence, we would still recommend mid-level Lt.

It comes standard with chrome exterior trim, an eight-way Power-adjustable driver seat, high-intensity discharge lights, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more.

  • L: $25 000 (EST.)
  • LS: $27 500 (EST.)
  • LT: $29 000 (EST.)
  • Premier: $33 000 (EST.)
  • RS: $34 000 (EST.)

Since we are not fans of the standard four-cylinder engine, we would upgrade to a stronger 2.0-liter Turbo option. Those who want to drive all rounds can add it for $1600.

We should also opt for a safe and comfortable package that includes Blind-Spot monitoring, dual-zone air conditioners, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power liftgate, rear cross-traffic warning, and remote start.
