2021 Chevrolet Tahoe MSRP The newest and largest expression may be a cliché, but it actually applies to the all-new Chevy Tahoe. With a fresh face and contemporary content, the three-row SUV is the shorter version of the equally new Chevy Suburban.
The Tahoe 2021 is not only larger on the outside, but its third row and cargo area have also increased, too. This is due in part to the beginnings of its independent rear suspension, which solves the problems that plagued the previous generation.
With a more spacious cab, it offers two conscientious V-8 engines as well as an efficient and torque diesel. There are also a host of driver assistance options and popular infotainment features that should delight full-size families. Look for the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe MSRP which will go on sale in mid-2020.
The Tahoe 2021 is brand new and significantly improved. In addition to a completely redesigned exterior and interior design, the three-row SUV has been stretched to provide more cargo and passenger space. Its cab also benefits from the Tahoe’s first independent rear suspension, which has already been adopted by direct rivals such as the Ford Expedition and Nissan Armada. The Chevrolet receives a host of new technologies, as well as the addition of a diesel engine option.
We think the mid-level RST and Z71 models have the best value for money, the first being more flashy and the second being geared towards adventurous people. We prefer the Z71’s standard four-wheel drive, robust appearance, and exclusive off-road equipment. Although it cannot be paired with diesel engines like RST, it can be with optional adaptive shock absorbers and air suspension, unlike RST.
2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Interior
The all-new 2021 Tahoe has its largest interior yet, with what should feel like acres of space compared to the outgoing model. Its previously cramped third-row adds about 10 inches of legroom, and the second-row seats now slide back and forth to provide much-needed flexibility.

The Tahoe’s improved interior packaging also offers a lower, flatter load floor thanks to its new architecture and independent rear suspension; The loading area with the second and third rows bent balloons at 123 cubic feet (28 more than before). Of course, there is no shortage of desirable options. These include a huge head-up display, a larger digital gauge screen, heated and ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, and more.
2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Engine
The Tahoe has been powered by a V-8 for its entire life and continues for the latest generation. However, its standard 355 hp 5.3-liter blocks and available 420-hp 6.2-liter are now joined by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine. Although it has the least power of the three, its 460 lb-ft of torque matches that of the larger V-8. Every 2021 Tahoe is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear or all-wheel drive.
The Z71 off-road model features a two-speed transfer case that provides a traditional four-wheel drive transmission, 20-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires and protection from the underside of the body. It is also available with adaptive shock absorbers that are standard on the Premier and High Country.
The latter and the RST model both rollover 22-inch lavish rims for the extra border call. An adjustable air suspension is another option that allows the Tahoe’s bearing height to be automatically and manually lowered or increased. This improves passenger accessibility, aerodynamics and ground clearance.
The EPA has not issued fuel economy ratings for the 2021 Tahoe. For now, we expect the diesel engine to be the most efficient and the largest V-8 to be the least economical. Both the standard 5.3-liter V-8 and its largest homologous benefit of auto stop/start technology and the deactivation of cylinders that are intended to improve fuel economy. 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Price
General Motors announced Monday that Chevrolet dealers are now accepting orders for the 2021 Tahoe SUV, with basic LS models starting at $50,295 (destination included), making it $1,000 more expensive than the outgoing LS.
The mid-range LT trim will register at $55,095 (up $800 from 2020), while the well-equipped Premier will start at $63,895 (down $100). Those looking to get into an entry-level Tahoe will have to wait a bit, however, as the initial production will consist only of LT, Z71, Premier, and High Country models. The LS base and sporty RST trims will be introduced to the suit a month later, Chevrolet said.
Chevrolet describes the price of the 2021 Tahoe as an “effective carryover”; the same cannot be said of the truck itself. It and the Suburban get a radically improved interior, diesel available, and an independent rear suspension.

The new independent rear is expected to make a significant improvement in the driving quality of the new Chevy trucks, bringing them more in line comfort-wise with Ford’s new shipment.
As we have suggested above, production of the new Tahoe (and the Long Wheelbase Suburban model) will be staggered, with the first Tahoes coming out of the line starting this spring. The first models out of line will be short wheelbase, V8 variants. The Suburban will go into production at about the same time as the Tahoe LS and RST models.
Production of models equipped with the 3.0L Duramax turbodiesel will not begin until the fall.
Chevrolet has not yet finalized the prices of the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe MSRP, but a spokesman said it should cost about $2,700 more than an identical Tahoe equipped.
